Classes and Shows

Upcoming shows where you can see my traditional crafts,
and classes I am teaching.
Pysanky-Making Class
Friday, March 27, 2020
1:00 - 4:00 pm
Charlotte Hobbs Library, Lovell, Maine
Decorate your own holiday egg in the distinctive Ukrainian pysanka style, using wax-resist method on a real egg. No prior artistic talent required. Draw lines of beeswax on your egg with a traditional waxing tool, dip the egg in dye, and watch your pattern appear. The finished eggs will be varnished and hollowed, creating a permanent keepsake.

Many students who at first worried that "they wouldn't be able to do it" are still gushing about the beautiful egg they made in class!   The eggs in the photo at the right were all made by my 2013 students at Hobbs Library.

Call  Charlotte Hobbs Library  (207) 925-3177
to register.  This class has always filled up.
No fee for this class.
